Superbowl & Clean Energy





Budweiser, Doritos, E*Trade, Sobe, General Motors, Heineken, Coca-Cola, Pedigree... no surprise that these big brands dominated the million dollar superbowl commercials during yesterday's game. But much to my satisfaction, somewhere after the commercial where the singing insects ditched the plastic pop bottle in the perfectly clean environment, and somewhere before the super fuel guzzling truck made its flaming appearance, these two rather revolutionary commercials made their way to the big screen. Props to GE for making the environment a headline at Superbowl XLIII - even it was only for the investments.

  1. Its great that these ads got such big audiences. But you have to question the motivations behind the ad. Is this just greenwashing of GE, or is there any real commitment to make true changes.
