Has anyone else heard anything similar to this? Its the first I have heard of this issue.

Methane is a greenhouse gas that has a very large impact on global warming. It is also a byproduct of digestion in livestock. There has been a lot of research in terms of using low methane producing feeds with livestock. Good post.
